As part of your requirements to remain a PTUK/PTI supervisor, attendance of mandatory training is required every 3 years. This short course will fulfil this requirement and before the next revalidation period supervisors are required to complete this. If you wish to attend before the 3 year period, you are welcome to do so.

This course will provide mandatory training in supervision for PTUK/PTI supervisors. It will revise the basics of play therapy supervision, outline recent changes to the training and organisation, and provide supervisors with creative space to explore their supervision practice before considering the role of online supervision and how to integrate creative supervision into practice.

This is a repeat of previous Top-Up courses. Each participant that completes the course will receive a certificate of participation and 5 CPD points, which count towards annual play therapy revalidation:

• 3 points for the online training
• 1 point for reading the supervisor handbook (the most recent version was emailed out to supervisors in June 2026)
• 1 point for reading updates on the PTUK website and the new documents in the resources folder in the members’ section

Preparation: please bring crayons or felt tips and some paper to draw on.
