Tan Fie Ling

I am a qualified Play Therapist registered with PTUK/PTI. I work with children, young people, and adults who experience emotional, behavioural, or mental health challenges. My approach combines play therapy and creative arts, offering a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their feelings, develop coping skills, and build resilience. I use tools such as sandtray, art, role play, and storytelling, and adapt my practice to meet the unique needs of each client. I currently work in a special school setting, supporting children with diverse abilities and special educational needs. In addition, I also provide play therapy for adults who seek mental health support through creative and non-verbal approaches. I am developing my role as a supervisor for trainee play therapists. My practice is child-centred, person-centred, and grounded in respect, helping every client to grow in confidence, creativity, and wellbeing.
