Sadiye Akalin

I am an accredited Play Therapist, a Filial Play Coach, and Play and Creative Arts Counsellor. I am also currently undertaking a training in clinical supervision and offer both face-to-face and online supervision for therapists. I bring a compassionate and grounded approach to therapeutic work, informed by years of practice across schools, community centres, and private practice. My work focuses on a wide range of mental health challenges including developmental trauma, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, anger management, autism, and ADHD. I am deeply committed to creating safe, creative, and relational spaces where children and young people can express themselves, build resilience, and find healing. Outside of my practice, I find balance and joy in nature-enjoying time in my allotment, jogging, walking, and spending quality time with family and friends. "
