Emma Nagle
I am an experienced accredited play therapist with a 30yr background in primary teaching. I work in partnership with schools and parents to support children who have had or who are living with difficult experiences via play therapy, training and consultancy. This might be children who: - have regular emotional outbursts that they can't easily calm down from - seem to flare up for no reason - struggle with classroom routines - have trouble attending school - have high levels of distractibility and/or off task behaviour I have extensive experience of working with children who have child protection plans. As part of my practice I work with parents and staff to advise and make plans for home & school support and can offer CPD sessions for staff around this. As a teacher with lengthy experience in the primary sector I understand the pressures of the classroom, and am passionate about supporting staff as well as children. I am an experienced clinical supervisor and can offer support for DSLs and staff working with stressful cases. I am based in SE2 (on the Elizabeth Line) and work mainly in Newham, Tower Hamlets and Southwark but am happy to travel for up to an hour.
