Emma Lawrence

The majority of my work is with children and young people with experiences of developmental trauma, including abuse and neglect. I have experience both within schools and a clinic setting as part of a multidisciplinary team. My play therapy model is integrative holistic. As well as individual and group play therapy sessions, I offer therapeutic parenting and parent and child attachment focused sessions, drawing on my training in Theraplay and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP). Being a play therapist is a privilege and a joy. My approach is creative, playful and compassionate.
