Darit Puchkov

I am an experienced Play therapist and worked in a variety of settings such as primary and secondary schools, domestic violence shelters, charities, and my own private practice with children aged 2-18 years old and their families. I trained in 2013 as a Play Therapist (with PTUK) and in 2018 When I started working with Adopted and Special Guardian children, I took further training in Theraplay which is an approach that incorporates concepts from several developmental theories, including attachment theory, self-psychology, and object relations theory. I also trained in various courses relating to early trauma and attachment as well as sensory processing difficulties, life story work and the Polyvagal theory. In 2024 I completed my Diploma in Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychotherapy and Counselling Supervision with Terpaia. I offer creative supervision that helps my supervisees to tap into their unconscious while looking more deeply on how early trauma and various special needs are affecting their clients. As I have been working in a big charity for many years, I am also able to help my supervisees to explore their cases more systemically looking at the whole family’s process and its effect on the the child they work with. I am based in North London and offer face to face supervision for trainees as well as online supervision for qualified therapists.
