In February 2026, Bangkok welcomed the Certificate Course in Therapeutic Play Skills for its eighth consecutive year. Alongside developing therapeutic knowledge and practical skills, students explored their own emotions and perspectives through experiential learning.
The group developed trust, openness and mutual support. Students described growing in self-awareness and confidence, as well as developing a deeper understanding of children and therapeutic practice.
In March, the Filial Play Coaching Course ran for a second consecutive year. A small group of students developed skills and practical experience to support parents in strengthening their relationships with their children through play.
Play Therapy Thailand reports that it has trained over 100 play therapists, now practising across the country, including Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket and Hua Hin.
