Susan Nostelthaller

My name is Susan, and I am an Accredited Play & Creative Therapist, graduated with a distinction; and a Trainee Clinical Supervisor, registered with PTUK. I have over 22 years experience working with children, families, and vulnerable adults, as a registered Social Worker, with much of that time within the Fostering & Adoption field, and Children & Families; working with children and their parents and carers, at times of need and risk, with separation, loss, relational-trauma, and change. I was an Adoption Panel member for 6 years; and have led assessment, training and supervision work in fostering, adoption and adoption support fields. I retrained as a Play and Creative Therapist, and I work with families who have access to the ASF; and in an inner city school setting for over five years, with a particular focus on SEND support, neurodivergent understanding, EBSA, and all range of emotional and social needs. I work through an integrated lens including Erikson’s psychosocial model of development, child-led Play Therapy principles and ethics, work with symbols and meaning, and the Play Therapy Dimensions lens of assessing and tracking play, connection and progress. I offer a free 40 minute conversation to help you in your decision making.
