I believe working with children as a play therapist is a great privilege. I have worked with large numbers of children and young people, from ages 4 to 20, each with their own challenges and each one unique and special. They have taught me so much and I continue to learn from my practice in every session. My training in clay therapy and creative arts therapy has been invaluable in enriching the experience. As a supervisor it is fascinating to gain further insight into clinical practice through the supervisory relationship. I see supervision as a partnership with both parties on a journey of exploration together to support the children we work with. I very much enjoy the deepening of understanding through creative methods, whether sand, art or clay.
