Rebecca Blackwell
I am an accredited Play and Creative Arts Therapist living and working in Elgin, Moray. I am also a trainee clinical supervisor. I have experience as a social worker, having worked with vulnerable children and families in a frontline safeguarding role. Prior to my social work career, I worked with Deaf children and young people, using British Sign Language (BSL Level 6) to support communication and access within education settings. I value how each of my professional roles has allowed me to use creative and visual ways of connecting with others, supporting them to express themselves and reach their potential. I have particular professional interests in attachment, trauma, and holistic practice, and I work closely with the networks around the child to ensure that therapeutic interventions are meaningful and effective. I am committed to ongoing professional development so that I can be the best possible practitioner for the children, young people, and families I support. Get in touch to find out how I may be able to support you or a young person you know.
